Hi! I’m Alexander Christie (he/they) , a theatre artist originally from Rochester, NY but currently based in Chicago, IL. I recently graduated from Northwestern University where I studied theatre and sociology, a path that fueled my curiosity for human organization and how our own identities influence the worlds we build. In this vein, I strive to create theatre that challenges the status quo and urges those involved to reimagine what life could look like. My background in movement, including various forms of dance, Viewpoints, Laban, and Suzuki work, strongly informs my journey toward this goal. As a performer, whether it be through plays or musicals, classical or contemporary work, I hope to learn something new while also sparking further questions that I can take with me as I embark on my next project. I’m excited by the opportunities that this perspective affords me and I can’t wait to see what adventures are waiting in the future!
